Terms of Service

Operator: Belmiro Michel Da Cruz Antonio, an individual established in Portugal and operator of the personal Orbisay project.
Legal contact address: Braga rua 25 de abril
Tax identification / NIF: 301963134
Email: [email protected]
Effective date: 19 September 2026.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Orbisay, you agree to these Terms and applicable policies. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Orbisay is an independent social platform that allows people to create accounts, publish messages, comment, react, interact and contact the team. The service may evolve over time.

3. Age and account

The minimum age at launch is 16. You must provide truthful information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account except where it results from a failure attributable to Orbisay.

You may not sell, transfer or share access in a way that compromises service security.

4. User content

You retain rights in content you publish. By publishing, you grant Orbisay a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence limited to what is necessary to host, reproduce, display, technically distribute and make that content available within the service and to operate the features you choose.

The licence ends when content is deleted, except for temporary technical copies, legal obligations, moderation evidence or other legitimately necessary cases.

5. Rules of use

You may not use Orbisay for illegal content or conduct, credible threats, harassment, unlawful hate speech, child sexual exploitation, unauthorised disclosure of personal data, fraud, spam, malware, platform manipulation, deceptive impersonation or infringement of third-party rights.

The Community Guidelines provide more detail.

6. Moderation

Orbisay may reduce visibility, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts where necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people, protect service integrity or comply with law.

Decisions should be proportionate to the circumstances. Where appropriate or legally required, we provide reasons and appeal mechanisms.

Automated systems may be used for prioritisation, security or abuse detection, but serious actions should be subject to appropriate safeguards and review.

7. Reports and illegal content

The service includes reporting mechanisms and a dedicated channel for reporting allegedly illegal content. Reports must be submitted in good faith with enough information to identify the content and basis of the report.

8. Security

You must not attempt unauthorised access, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass limits, abusively scrape data or interfere with platform operation.

Good-faith security research should be reported to [email protected] before public disclosure of exploitable details.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features for technical, security, legal or product reasons. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Responsible limitation

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. The service is provided in accordance with applicable law and without warranties beyond those required by law.

11. Governing law and contact

The operator is established in Portugal. These Terms are interpreted under applicable Portuguese and European Union law, without prejudice to mandatory user rights.

Contact: [email protected].

12. Changes

Material changes will be communicated appropriately and renewed acceptance will be requested where required.
